Practice Highlights
In addition to private practice, Frances worked as an author of a well respected HR publication used by employment lawyers and HR professionals providing guidance and answers to a diverse array of HR issues that arise daily in Canadian organizations.
As an author, Frances’ focus was on employee discipline, handbooks and policies, terminations, letters of offer, employment contracts, employee-manager counseling, investigations, retaliation, workforce reduction, pre-employment inquiries and human resources strategy.
Her primary practice area is employment law, with a secondary practice area in family litigation. Frances appears before the Ontario Court of Justice, Superior Court of Justice, Divisional Court, the Superior Court of Justice, Family Branch and the Ontario Court of Appeal.
Frances’ client base includes individuals, entrepreneurs, corporations and not for profit organizations in Toronto and the G.T.A.
